Jewelry care

Maintaining Your Jewelry’s Shine

Every DM piece is treated with a special technique to help preserve its brilliance. However, proper care is essential to maintain its beauty over time.
Prolonged exposure to air can cause your jewelry to lose its shine.
Tarnishing is a natural process that can be reversed with proper cleaning (details below).
Remove your jewelry before sleeping, showering, or engaging in physical activity.
Avoid exposure to chemicals and harsh environments, including sweat, perfumes, cleaning products, chlorine, salt water, and silver polish.

Cleaning Your Jewelry
Gold-plated items require extra care—excessive rubbing may wear away the plating, so always clean them gently.
A silver-polishing cloth can help restore shine to tarnished pieces but will not remove scratches or dents.

Storing Your Jewelry

Keep jewelry away from direct sunlight and heat, ideally in a padded jewelry box or a tarnish-resistant bag.
Store pieces individually in their original bags to prevent tarnishing. Avoid rubber containers, as they can accelerate discoloration.
Do not store jewelry in bathrooms or humid environments.

Please Note

Gold-plated jewelry is delicate and may fade over time. The longevity of the plating depends on various factors, including exposure to chemicals, perspiration, and individual skin PH. Proper care is essential to maintain the color and quality of your gold-plated pieces.
